Why this works
Most business owners film one long take and post it once. A long take usually holds several separate points. Each one can be its own short video, which means a week of posts from ten minutes of filming.
The prompt, in three sizes
Start small. Add detail only when the result isn’t what you wanted.
Quick
Make 5 short videos from this clip.
Better
Make 5 TikToks from this clip. Each one should cover a single point I make, open with the strongest sentence about that point, and run 20–40 seconds.
Full brief
Make 5 vertical videos (9:16) from this clip for TikTok and Reels. - Each video covers ONE point I make. Don't mix points. - Open with my strongest sentence about that point, even if I said it later. - 20–40 seconds each. Cut pauses, "um"s and restarts. - Word-by-word captions in my brand font, kept above the bottom 20% of the screen. - End on my last useful sentence. No outro. - Name each file after its point.
If it comes out wrong
Send one fix at a time, in plain words.
Two videos say the same thing
“Video 3 repeats video 1. Replace it with the part where I talk about pricing.”
It opens slowly
“Start every video on a full sentence that makes a claim. No “so” or “hey guys.””
Too long
“Cut each video to under 30 seconds. Keep the claim, the example and the last line.”
Tip
Film in one sitting and talk about 5–6 separate topics. Pause for a second between them so the cuts land cleanly.
