What to film for your business when you don’t know where to start

6 min read

You don’t need a studio, a script or a good camera. You need a few kinds of footage that work together. Film these once, upload them to Cutleap, and you’ll have enough raw material for many videos.

  1. Talk to the camera about 5 things

Prop your phone at eye level near a window. Talk for 30–60 seconds each about: what you do, who it’s for, a common mistake your customers make, a question you get asked a lot, and something you’re proud of. Pause between topics.

  2. Film your product or service up close

Show it being used, made or delivered. Hands, details, before and after. No talking needed. Take 10 short clips of 3–5 seconds each.

  3. Film your space and your day

Opening up, packing an order, a client call, the coffee before work. People like seeing the person behind the business.

  4. Collect what customers say

Ask two happy customers for a short voice note or video about what changed for them. Screenshots of kind messages work too.

  5. Upload it all and ask for a batch

Drop everything into Cutleap and try: “Make 5 TikToks from my talking clips, using the product shots as B-roll.”

Tip

Good light and clear sound matter more than the camera. Face a window, and film somewhere quiet without echo.
